How to start earning?

You have to get some "LP Tokens" or "Single tokens" to enter into Yield Farming. Farms can only accept their own exact Token.

For example, the CGO – CRO Pool on Cougar Exchange will only accept CGO – CRO LP Token on Cougar Exchange.

In order to get the exact LP Tokens, you'll need to provide liquidity for the trading pairs. So to get CGO – CRO LP Token, you'll first have to provide liquidity for the CRO – CRO pairs.

Find your Farm

Before you proceed, you have to choose a Farm that's right for you. Visit the Yield Farming page and you’ll see some pools available for the farm. Please, note down the trading pairs.

Provide liquidity to get LP Tokens

Now that you found a Farm you want to stake in, you will need to add liquidity to get your LP Token.

1. Click on the row of the Farm you chose and check it out for some more details such as pair name, DEX name.

2. After that, it may open the Add Liquidity page for your Farm's pair. You can now get your LP Tokens.

Put your LP Tokens into a Farm

Now that you have your LP Token, get ready to start staking it in a Farm and earning rewards

1. Go to the Cougar Optimizer and find your Farm. (click the Enable button and confirm your action in your wallet)

2. After a short wait, the Enable button will change to Stake LP.

3. Put the amount of LP Token you would like to farm with into the field, or just click Max to use all of your LP Token.

4. When you have the amount entered, the Confirm button will light up. Your wallet will ask you to confirm your action.

After a short period, you will see your new staked LP Token balance in the details.

Remove your LP Token from a Farm

You may decide to take out of a Farm. You can do this very easily whenever you want.

1. Return to the Yield Farming page. At the top of the page, you'll see a Staked only toggle. Click the toggle. You should now only see the pairs you staked LP Tokens in on the list.

2. Click the row to view details. You will see a - and + button on the right-hand side. Click - to remove LP Tokens, or + to add more LP Token

3. A window will open that looks like the one you used earlier to first stake your LP Tokens. Put the amount you would like to un-stake/ stake or click Max to remove/add all available LP Tokens.

4. Make sure your information is correct, click Confirm button, and confirm the action in your wallet.

5. After a short wait, your new balance will show in the details section of your LP Token pair. If you've un-staked your LP Tokens, any unharvested rewards you had will automatically have been collected.

Harvest your farming rewards

Farming will bring you $CGO Token in rewards over time. You can collect these rewards or stakes to get more in a mixture or just simply auto-compound to have extra more $CGO.
